The TCR models of the Leica TPS700 Performance Series have a distancer that does not need a reflector. This makes measuring extra fast: Target the point with the red laser dot, measure, read off. It’s that easy. Accurate as well - thanks to the precision provided by Leica Geosystems.
The slender housing of the distancer contains two different coaxial laser systems. One of them produces an invisible infrared laser beam, the other a visible red beam. The invisible beam is used for conventional measurements to prisms or to reflector tapes. With the visible laser you can measure to targets that are accessible only with difficulty or not at all. The resulting distances and target-point coordinates are given directly and do not need post-processing.
